About the Book

All of these photos were taken in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Canada. I put this collection together with inspiring quotes to lift the spirits of those who are struggling or for those who need courage. When I am stressed I visualize the cresting waves rolling in to shore and the stress melts away. As a Maritimer my life has been intimately wrapped up with the Bay of Fundy, Northumberland Strait, and Five Islands. In the summer we swam in the Bay and the Strait and would make a trip to take pictures of Five Islands. As residents of Atlantic Canada, we are surrounded by seascapes, marshes, and verdant pasture lands. Many people feel that Atlantic Canada is one of the most desirable places to live in the world. I hope that you will find beauty and comfort in this book.

About the Author

Katherine Tapley-Milton lives with her husband, Dave, and five cats in Atlantic Canada. She graduated from Mount Allison University with a B.A. in the areas of psychology, sociology, and history and has a two year Master of Theological Studies degree from Tyndale Seminary in Willowdale, Ontario. Katherine has been a freelance writer for the last 35 years and has been published in hundreds of periodicals. Her books “Mind Full of Scorpions”; “Devotions With Your Cat”; and “The Adventures of Sir Lancelot the Cat”; are already published, and “Old Boats and Old Quotes”; and “The Adventures of the Three Mouse-Breath-Kateers” are soon to be published. Her hobbies include cooking, organic gardening, writing, reading historical romances, doing crafts, and hanging out with her cats.
