About the Book

The Pain Of My Happiness is a series of poems that I have written over the years to tell my life story. All based on my feeling and the things that I’ve been through. Some of which I shared with my friends and family and others I’ve kept secret. All of which are real life events with real life solutions, like things that I have experienced and the way that I would like to experience certain things. In this case things that most people would keep secret on how they feel or what happened to them… I tell you my story.

About the Author

Born May 10, 1985 and a big relief to my mother after 18hrs of labor. As I began to grow so did my family. I am the oldest and the only boy of my parents four children. Moved around a bit as a child. Up until my family and I landed in Clair- Mel City. A part of Tampa that would take me all the way through middle school, high school and most of my adult life. I attended Progress Village Middle School and Dowdell Middle Magnet School. Later to go on and attend Howard W. Blake High School, which is where I obtained my high school diploma and there is where I wrote my first poem. Given to my mother on the day of her birth of the year 2001 in the form of a card that I made in my Graphic Design class. From that day forward I have been writing about everything that I’ve been a part of or what I would want to be a part of.
