About the Book

This is a collection based on true happenings. The people mentioned are real people. The poems have a certain cadence, or rhythm that makes them easy to read. They would also be good for reading out loud and pleasant for those who enjoy easy listening.
The poems, on the surface seem light, however there is a deeper meaning that can be discovered if the reader takes time to look for the story behind the story, as you learn to look and listen with the eyes and ears of your heart.
You will find the full range of emotions covered in this book and lessons to be learned by everyone.
This book could easily be adapted into a study guide for teaching young people how to pattern their lives after teachings of the Bible.

About the Author

Born: Feb. 5, 1933 Where: at home near Montrose, Kansas Last born, the seventh child in a family of seven • Grew up in the small town of Burr Oak, Kansas. Graduated Burr Oak High School 1950 • Married 1950 • Mother of one son and two daughters. • Seven Grand children one great and two great, great granddaughters • One Son and one granddaughter deceased. • 1978 Purchased my own business (Mitchell County Abstracts) • Sold business 1995 due to poor health. • Currently living in Hill Top Lodge Assisted Living in Beloit, Kansas. • Have done very little writing until the past two years. Most of the poetry was done the past year. • She has always been interested in history, and has many hobbies and interests mostly self taught.
