About the Book

I thought it would be fun to tell somebody some of the mundane and not so mundane details of my 77 years here on planet earth. I traversed the early years, to tell the truth, as an unremarkable, uninteresting and introverted being. The later years were vast spreads of uneventful times. However, they were interrupted infrequently with events that were quite remarkable. I hope you will agree.

About the Author

Following a mostly uneventful adolscence, my induction into the Army Ordance Corp was exciting to say the least. From teaching ordance optics repair (e.g. binoculars, range finders) to field testing Nike missile guidance equipment at White Sands Proving Grounds. Using the Gl bill I attended night school for 7 years to get a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. The degree was a good stepping stone for employment with a large oil company in Reseach and Development. I was awarded 13 US patents and retired after 30 years as a Research Associate. My last job was Vice President of a Quality Administration for a small cosmetics firm. Eight years as supervisor of the Control Lab was pure fun. In between times, I've been married twice, have two children and am enjoying retirement flying radio control model airplanes and surfing the web. Dom Apikos
