About the Book

In ‘Warrior: Songs of a Fighter’, ‘Thomas Newman’ Powell extends to you an invitation to share his poems written from ages 14 to 17 years old on topics such as the sadness, happiness, bullying & finding inner peace while growing up in a broken home in a very small town. He hopes to inspire other young writers to follow their dreams and share their experiences through therapeutic writing. “Your words could literally save a life”.

About the Author

‘Thomas Newman’ born Thomas Newman Powell on July 18th 1995 in Loris, South Carolina is an up and rising Public Figure in the Myrtle Beach area. Since releasing his first book “Warrior: Songs of a Fighter” in May of 2014, Thomas has turned his love of poetry into music, releasing his first solo single “Post My Bail” co-written by his mom Shaun Sellars in summer of 2018 on multiple music platforms. In November of 2018, Thomas collaborated with NY Rapper Rxflo on their song “Where Were You” which received some radio play & landed them on local talk shows. The collaboration is also available worldwide on multiple music streaming services.
