About the Book

Hello to all, I hope that you enjoy this read, as it is a testimony of my life. I have enjoyed writing and music all my life, hopeful this will bring some enjoyment to yours. I claim no title, only that I am a child of God.

About the Author

Franchot Dammon Candler Sr. He was born in Jackson, Ms., October 17, 1972, to Parents Avis Johnson Candler and Pamela Lynn Davis. His mother brought him to Chicago where he was raised with his four other brothers and sisters. Attending Chirpus Attucks partially then finishing elementary at Walter Reed. Paul Roberson was where he attended 3 of his high school years, then returning to Ms. Job Corps where he received his G.E.D. and electrical skill. Afterwards at eighteen years of age, Franchot became a husband and father, and then entered the military where he was an honored and decorated soldier. Traveling the parts of the world the military would allow, which were many, but mostly Germany for five years. His passion was learning about history, religion, and the bible. Franchot also has a very good singing voice, which landed him in many groups, in particular, “Shade”, and was offered a recording contract from Sony in 1994. Since then he has written articles and music lyrics for various choirs. A current member of Family Christian Center, Munster IN. a faithful choir member and involved in leadership with the choir. Currently a driver and former driver trainer for UPS Freight, he enjoys 24 years of successful tractor-trailer driving for which he has received various awards. He was responsible for writing safety demonstrations for over two years at UPS freight Bedford Park, IL. One year from his bachelor degree in liberal arts and he just graduated as a freelance writer at Penn Foster
