Barth’s Lake

About the Book

Barth’s Lake is a mystical place that has been in the Barth family for years. Most of the family just sees it as a camping ground, but in every generation, there are a few who have a special gift and are drawn to the lake like a magnet. These few are chosen from birth by Lin, the keeper of the forest. Lin guards the animals and helps those who are sick or injured. Lin brings Mr. Barth (Tootie) the animals she needs special help with, especially the animals and creatures many people feel don’t exist.

Patricia Schneider Meiklejohn, a preschool teacher, has been teaching for seventeen years. She has published Already a Hero and is a member of the Children’s Publishing Group.
