About the Author

Zizo Eladawi was born in Giza, Egypt, in July 1981. He grew up in a family of six children. After a turbulent childhood, he moved to Libya and then Dubai in search of work. He moved to Cork, Ireland, in 2006 after his first failed marriage. His second marriage ended in 2010, and he now lives with his third wife and young son.

Hi this is a must read.its well written a page turner but most of all its a true story which is told from the heart.its about a little boy born into and growing up in a muslim society Zizo is egyptian and his pathway through life up to now has not been without its share of knocks so the name for the book is spot on still standing despite those knocks best of luck with the book regards anne crowley
