About the Book

“You said I was your anchor, did you know you were my net? The troubles we helped each other through are times I won’t forget. Never knew how close the edge was, you pulled me back and that was fine. Said you didn’t love me then, now you say it was there all the time.” “Words hurt” you said, “you chose then carefully.” I finally responded, “What’s left unsaid hurts more.” “Shall I slip out to the gorge, loose gravel at the edge? Wish upon my evening star and dance upon the ledge?” - Randy Dyment

About the Author

“To me, honour encompasses forgiveness, honesty, integrity, nobility and compassion.” Randy was born in the summer of 1965 and was raised the rural area of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. The fourth of five boys, he learned very early, the value of hard work and honesty. Randy began writing at the age of sixteen and continued pursuing it as a hobby through various types of employment. While always interested in music, particularly the acoustic guitar, a latent talent in that became apparent, after the unfortunate passing of one of his brothers. Eventually becoming an accomplished guitarist, it was natural that he combine this with his writing. He became a respected composer and lyricist by various area musicians, at that time. Randy no longer performs on stage, but still plays from time to time. Being a licensed mechanic and employed in the automotive industry, Randy’s pastimes also included cryptology, creative problem solving, calligraphy, reading and of course writing.
