About the Author

Bobby Humphrey was born and raised in Michigan and played his college baseball at Spring Arbor University, where he lettered four years as a catcher. Since graduating, he has coached all levels with the exception of professional—including two years as a head varsity coach, one year in the Valley Baseball League, and numerous camps and clinics throughout the country. He has coached several players that have gone on to the college level and beyond. Currently, Coach Humphrey is an assistant coach at NCAA DIII Southern Virginia University. He also began as an associate scout for the New York Mets in 2009. He resides in central Shenandoah Valley, Virginia.
