For example, Stingless bee honey is a popular traditional medicine that traditional practitioners use to treat various disorders, particularly respiratory and gastrointestinal disorders. A section on taste profiles explores new or improved tastes with herbal and spice infusions and mixes for more palatable healthy drinks and commercially viable culinary products. It also looks at Vinaigretes, salad dressing and marinades. This book makes comparisons of different vegetation exudates and nectar of different crop blossoms. It explains how the resulting products like honey, propolis and pollen derived from meliponiculture are used and how they impact human health.


About the Author

Abu Hassan bin Abdul Jalil (Born 1955) Began Bee culture career as an Apiary Landscaper as early as 1983, dabbled in Meliponary Landscaping since 2010, and engaged fully in Meliponiculture as of 2011. Actively involved in Indo-Malayan Meliponine Conservation since 2012 by evolving the new study of Beescape for Meliponines. Beescape and Meliponine Repository Consultant at the Malaysian Genome and Vaccine Institute (MGVI) - 2014 to present. Principal at Akademi Kelulut Malaysia - 2014 to present.
