About the Book

This book is about what women and men go through every day but don’t want to talk about. It was such a privilege to talk to people while writing this book. Men and women go through the same thing with mistresses. A woman can date another woman’s man, and a man can date another man’s woman. No matter how it happens, they are both mistresses. Men and women can be insecure—even if they are in love and have kids. They can try to work out their situations, but one-sided love leads to a life of depression. At that time, God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost will intervene. Oh, how glorious it is. It brings peace. Hallelujah. Amen. Learn to pray and give it to Jesus. I promise He will work it out.

About the Author

My name is Bernice Walker. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia. I came from a very well-to-do family. I have eight siblings and the best parents. We never wanted for anything. My parents have been married for sixty-two years, and we are all from the same mother and father. We all loved one another so much. Each of us had our own room. On the night before Christmas, we had to go to bed at nine o’clock. We had no problem with going to bed early. Before my parents would arrange the presents, they would go to our rooms and say, “If you’re not asleep, Santa will put pepper in your eyes.” When we awoke in the morning, my oldest brother would knock on my door and say, “Mom and Dad just went in their room. I heard them talking to Santa, telling him how good we are.” I said, “Really? I knew he was here. I heard the reindeers jumping up and down in excitement.” My brother and I went to the other rooms to tell our siblings. We all ran downstairs to the den. Our home looked like Macy’s and Toys “R” Us put together. We all had lots of toys, clothes, bikes, and a big green board that said: Merry Christmas from Santa. We had Christmas like that until we knew there was no Santa. For me, that was when I was sixteen. My parents bought each of us a car when we graduated. Thank You, Jesus. I give Him all the glory. I give him all the glory for this book too. Hallelujah. Without Him, I could not have written it. Thank You, Jesus. Praise the Lord. While I was writing this book, women and men told me about their experiences of being cheated on. I wrote this book to let you know that God will bring you out of any situation. You will be stronger and better. Give it to God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. He will take your hand, and you will come out on top every time with God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. Amen.
