About the Book

As life unfolds her mysteries each day, we sometimes need a word: a loving word, a kind word, an encouraging word, even a poetic word. Most have heard it said, “What’s from the heart, reaches the heart.” This selection of poems or poetical writings are from my heart and are written from the life experiences of persons I have encountered, interacted with, and/or have witnessed in their pursuit of living this life, one day at a time. My heart longs to make this world a better place by writing my thoughts from my heart—one poem at a time to be shared with one more person with a never-ending circle of sharing and caring. Wife, mother, grandmother, sister, servant, intercessor, teacher of God’s Word, entrepreneur, Etta E. Alexander strives to live daily so that men, women, boys, and girls will see and experience God’s love, His very heart, and His hands extended here on earth through her. She loves serving the needs of the elderly and/or disabled persons who are entrusted into her care as a business owner and health-care provider. Her life reflects “God’s will, not mine” and for that, to Him be the glory!
