Soon, the day arrived for Skipper's trip. That morning, he could hardly eat, he was so excited! Butterflies filled his stomach. How fun it would be! Soon, the taxi was at his door. He would be on his way.Skipper was excited to be traveling back to Germany. He flew over the ocean,and mountains that were so high, they looked to him liked they touched the sky.The castles looked enormous. Soon, he had reached his destination. As he got off the plane,he was eager to hike along the river and through the woods. But what was that delicious smell? I'm hungry, he thought to himself. It's the smell of German sausages!

About the Book
This is a story about a poodle who has other animal friends, loves to travel and have adventures. In this first story, he travels back to his homeland of Germany,does a lot of walking to see the country side and makes new friends along the way.
About the Author
Shiela Sowards is a homemaker and a mother of three grown children and a grandmother of eight. Her husband, being previously active military has given her the advantage of traveling the world and living in various countries. Also, being avid animal lovers, while living in Germany, the family adopted their first loving pet, Skipper, a black poodle. Having read to her children when they were small, and having told to them made up stories, has giver her the experience to know what children like to hear and enjoy listening to.
