About the Book

The story of Pylochan, or the Barefooted, is that of a courageous people of Kandahar whose story has never been told before. They were given the name Pylochan by the Farsi-speaking people as they attacked the enemy camps during the night barefooted so as not to make a sound. These young warriors gave hope to the oppressed people of Kandahar by the Persian Empire of independence and victory. This book tells the story of some of the Pylochan that lived many years after the independence from Persian Empire.
