Scarred on Both Sides

I had a dream, I saw an old man who looked very familiar to me. He was trying to cross a very busy street alone. He had a few bags of groceries in his hands. I couldn’t help but notice, the family resemblance. In my dream, he looking, very bewildered and out of place trying to cross the busy street with no help in sight. So I said, to the old man. Let me help you across the street. I said again to him, you look like somebody, I once knewn. He just turned his head & looked at me very strange, with his head tilted. Just looking at me without saying a word, I woke up. I realize it was me at an older age. Hey, hey wake up, my Brothers & Sisters. Learn to love one another, surly if you live long enough you just might see the leaves turning on your tree.
