About the Author

Elora Stewart was born on Union Island, in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Carribean and now resides in Brooklyn, New York. Stewart, who has a B.S. in social work and a Master's in early childhood education, has been a teacher in the New York City public school system, a role she has found simultaneously challenging and rewarding. Stewart's fellow teachers began to ask her to write stories for the children in their classes. This led directly to the development of The Magic Blue Cat series. The first release was A Magic Cat Christmas. Shanti, Shanti, Shanti (Peace).
