Many saints find themselves at a place in the Spirit where they wonder if what they feel is in their heads or truly an action of the Holy Ghost. This manuscript is designed to be a guide into the gifts and operation of the Spirit. With our utilization of scriptural reference and spiritual experience, we will separate fact from fiction and assumption. As the later portion of Proverbs 4:7 KJV states, “In all thy getting get understanding,” we endeavor to do just that.

About the Author

As the body of Christ and the local church adopts a concept of spiritual government, its destiny is being shaped. Spiritual government is the channel through which vision flows. God always selects his leaders carefully, equips them, and releases them to accomplish the vision ordained by him. It is time for you to fulfill your destiny. I sat under Apostle James T. McManus for over twelve years, and I began to see the realization that preaching was important to people. However, operating in the gifts really helps set people free. So I began to watch him more closely as he demonstrated the nine gifts of the spirit that operated in his life. He would cast out demons wherever he was called to minister at. This gift really began to take control and radiate in my very soul. I said, “Lord, give me power over the demons.” I will be the first to say, be careful what you ask for because there is a price that comes along with these supernatural gifts from God. The next three years (1984–1987) God had me on a constant fast and had me following the man of God as he went from place to place. I became his armor-bearer. He would tell me to watch every move that he made and the words that he would use to cast out unclean spirits. If you are called into the fivefold ministry, you will be enlightened as you read the revelations that were given to me as I followed one of the greatest demonologist that ever walked the face of the earth. I have suffered a few wounds, climbed up some rough mountains, fallen short of many goals, made a number of poor decisions, and had to work through my own wrong attitudes! However, by the grace of God, I made it out of many tests and trials. In fact, I am a different man because of it. I have no regrets, and if I had to do it all over again, I would. Also, I have learned that every test will give you a testimony. I pray, by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that this book will help you fulfill the mandate that is upon your life. The twenty-first century sent one apostle. He must be able to do the work of a handyman. Let me be more clear. The apostle is sent forth with authority to faithfully represent the purposes and intentions of the sender. The prophet is the mouthpiece for Jesus Christ. The evangelist announces the good news of the Gospel and equips others to do the same. The pastor tends to and feeds the flock that God has set him/her over. The teacher instructs others and presents the true word in a systematic sequence that all may understand what God is saying. In conclusion, I am that apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ—Apostle W. J. Inman.
