About the Author

Mark has been a “professional” addict for over twenty years. Already holding a life-earned “PhD” in addiction psychology and addictive behaviors, he has, over the last four years, begun his lifelong journey on earning his “PhD” in recovery and sobriety.

Having spent time at outpatient treatment facilities (some more than once) and countless hours of one-on-one, family, and group therapy sessions, Mark offers us a tantalizing look at beginning to search and discover what was once thought of as unattainable—the understanding of ourselves as addicts as well as the understanding of the addicted loved ones in our lives!
