About the Author

The author’s name is Zuzanna Musial. She was born in Poland on August 11, 1950. Her parents, Cecilia and Thaddeus Golemo, passed away years ago. After graduating from college, she immigrated to Canada in 1981. She has two wonderful sons, Mariusz and Artur, whom she loves dearly. She was employed in occupational therapy for over twenty years in rehabilitation facilities in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Her love and respect for life heightened her sensitivity toward others. Literature was always one of her strong interests. She did not speak or read English when she arrived in Canada. Determination pushed her to learn the English Language ten words a day to improve her speaking and writing skills. Writing poems became a passion that helped her to express inner feelings and utmost desires of her heart. She loves literature, reading, writing, photography, videography, history, and she finds peace in nature. Over the many years, she acquired life wisdom. She is respectful of all people and firmly believes in kindness of a human heart. “Happiness is to be alive and see the beauty around.” A motto for the book title Flames of Life: “A new day is the beginning of an adventure. Learning about others as well as ourselves, sharing laughter (a form of medicine), trying to accomplish more than originally thought we could, taking a lesson from our mistakes. Be kinder than necessary because kindness is what the world needs the most.” Zuzanna Musial
