About the Book

There is no credit to be taken by the author for this work, especially since the major part of this work is not his own but rather the words of the Lord God extracted from the scriptures. These things are written as the testimony of a humble servant of the Lord God and become the only legacy and expression of a son of God who has nothing else to leave the world following his short sojourn among those of mortality. It is hoped that they may be of some use and accomplish some good in bringing about a more righteous world for the glory of God. God has created all things for mankind, and it is hoped that men might be found to be worthy of all that the Lord God has prepared for man. There is much beauty and wonder to be found in what the Lord has done. May we be wise enough to take full advantage of what can be our inheritance both in this life and in that life to come.

About the Author

I was born January 7, 1935, at the town of Wewoka, Seminole County, Oklahoma, as the first of three children born to my parents. When I was approximately four years old, my parents, along with other relatives, left Oklahoma and went to California in order to find work. I then spent my youth in and about Los Angeles, California, where I went to school. I graduated from high school at the Lynwood High School in 1954. Upon graduating, I joined the air force and remained in the air force for twenty years. I was married in 1958 to Rosalie I. Fadley. We had four children—two girls and two boys. My wife died on November 2, 1993. I have not remarried. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints in 1954. I have done nothing significant or of note since. I have spent my life in the study of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have held many responsible positions in the church. I was ordained as a high priest in the Church of Jesus Christ.
