My book, Harvie Says Never Do This, is a helping hand to keep children safe and aware of harmful things that could have a long-term effect or help them learn the meaning of pain. We all share in helping children learn the difference between fun and danger. Children are the future, and we need to make sure they make it there.

About the Author

I was born in Western Washington, the last of four girls, to the greatest parents. I was named Harriet after my father. I have never liked the name and have gone by the name Harvie for many years. I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for animals. I’ve always loved the little things in life most. My dad was my idol, and my mom was the sweetest person ever. Small children and animals always put a smile in my heart. I’ve learned that when they love you, it’s the greatest thing you could ever ask for. The love fills your heart. But the simple things—the things that are just there like the ocean, the forest, sunsets, and the stars in the sky—you can’t ask for more!
