"Hey!" Leroy heard someone call. He turned to see Lacie coming towards him. "Hi," Leroy said. "Who are you?" Lacie asked him. "I'm Leroy." He replied. "I'm Lacie." She said. "Well, "Leroy said, "I'm actually not from here. I'm from there." He pointed to the circle. Now he could see his world on the inside. The complete opposite from before. Lacie was suddenly fascinated by the colours inside the circle. She had never seen them before and immediately loved them. Leroy joined her as she walked up to the circle and looked inside. "Your world is beautiful." Lacie said. Leroy looked around in the world he was in. "Your's isn't really."

About the Book
Lacie and Leroy live in two completely opposite worlds. But when a magic circle appears out of nowhere, they meet each other's differences. Will they be able to put their differences aside and become friends? This is a story about accepting each other for our uniqueness and becoming friends with everyone we meet—no matter how different we may be. In hopes that one day, we may bring our differences together to make this world a more beautiful place.
About the Author
Kiley M. George is a young Canadian writer. She was born in Newmarket, Ontario and moved to Nipissing First Nation when she was three years old. She attended grade school at Our Lady of Sorrows School in Sturgeon Falls. Kiley, upon graduating grade eight, received awards for the Highest Academic Average, Social Sciences, Math, English, Native as a Second Language, and Citizenship. She also received the award of 2016 Leo Day-Sagassige-ba Memorial Scholarship Award Gimaamiikwendimgoo from the Anishinaabemowin Teg Inc. for demonstrating leadership in maintaining speaking the Ojibway language. Kiley’s interests include reading and writing, as well as short film production & editing.
