A Poem for a Poem

About the Book

As I was sitting in class one day, it was announced that we were having an art festival and that we had to write poems. I noticed that my friends were writing poems about “Darkness” so I decided to write about “Light”. I later decided to write more poems about just like my friend was doing at the time. As I was writing “The Phoenix Rises”, (another poem in my book) I began thinking “would it be funny if I published these?” So, I challenged myself to do it. I then told my mother and she agreed it would be a good idea and the challenge would be worth it.

About the Author

I was born May 22,2005 in Addis Ababa,Ethiopia.When I was 2 years-old I moved to America and began to learn english. All of 1st grade all I remember learning was reading and writing. As I grew up I continued to learn more about these passions I had and came up to here.I will continue these passions and will eventually write more books.Until then here I am with my first book.I love Hamilton the musical and I am also a Gemini if you’re into that kind of stuff like I am.
