At the Ranch

About the Book

Nate lives on a ranch with his parents, after his parents saw the special bond that he had for farm animals especially horses they bought a ranch. One day Nate and his mom sat down to share stories about her grandfather, the ranch he had in Mexico. Mom shared memories with Nate about when she was his age and went to her grandfather’s rancho. Mom wanted Nate to see that there is a lot to having a ranch, letting him know that he would have lots of work at the ranch. Mom also wanted Nate to learn that he can accomplish anything he sets his mind to no matter what!

About the Author

Melissa Aguiar-Guerra was born and raised in the Santa Monica, CA. Ever since she was in kindergarten she knew that she wanted to be a teacher. She received her BA in Liberal Studies from CSUN, then obtained am Advanced Early Childhood Education Degree from UCLA, a few years later returned to school to earn her Maters in Educational Administration. Melissa has been a Preschool for 10years, she enjoys working with children. She has two children of her own that loves spending her free time with. Melissa has always wanted to write a book to show her creative writing skills. She began to brainstorm some ideas and come up with her first book! She turned her cants into cans and her dreams into plans!
