About the Book

Innocent and loving, Kohle’s life changes from being a carefree spirit to a dejected child, abused woman to a fighter and survivor. She struggles to prove that she is as good as the rest of her intelligent family. With a low education, she pursues success at any cost, even at the cost of happiness, to prove herself worthy of their respect and love. Her path of success, driven with pain of her past, leads to destruction of people she loves and her own soul. Life lessons taught her to fight, survive, and succeed at any cost. The cost was too much. Finding peace is a painful struggle she was unprepared for.

About the Author

Lana Kramer (born May 30, 1971) is South African born. Raised for twenty years in the apartheid era, twenty-four years in the post apartheid era and relocated to the USA which ended segregation over fifty years ago. She was able to obtain better insight into the struggles of people in undeveloped, developing and developed countries. Lana Kramer resides in USA New York with her husband and son, her daughter and grandchildren residing in South Africa.
