About the Author

Dr. Phebe Simmons is a lifelong resident of Bryan-College Station, Texas. She earned her B.A. in English from Texas A&M University; M.Ed. in Reading from Prairie View A&M University; and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from University of Phoenix. Dr. Phebe has taught in public and private schools, higher education as well as in prison educational environments. She is an energetic, self-motivated and emotionally intelligent and dedicated professional. Dr. Phebe has a heart for others, serving families, couples and individuals who seek peace and purpose in their lives. In her spare time, Dr. Phebe enjoys playing the piano and extended road trips with her husband. Married to Curtis Simmons, Jr., the couple has five adult children and three grandsons.
