When a Cow Comes Into Your House

About the Book

A quirky and adventurous cow, attracted by the beautiful garden, manages to get inside a house. The little girl who lives in the house wonders how she got in and now tries to protect her belongings, but it’s not an easy task.

About the Author

I am of Italian background living in Australia. I wrote my first poem at twelve years old, and from then on, I wrote about my life experiences and anything else that inspired me. At the age of nineteen, I returned to Italy with my family. Here I learnt to write in Italian, so I have lots of poems written at an older age in Italian. Encouraged by family and friends, I decided to combine my poems into a book, which I self-published in Italy in 2000. (I plan to republish this book in the future.) After almost twenty years, I have returned to Australia and started a new life with my three children and husband. The poem “When a Cow Comes into Your House” was written just for fun in early high school, and now I have chosen to turn it into a children’s book.
