My Pleasure, My Joy, My Pain

About the Book

What makes my book, My Pleasure, My Joy, My Pain so unique is that I've experienced almost every emotion in life there is to know. I lived in a dysfunctional family where secrets were kept. I have written about those secrets in my poetry hoping to allow my readers to open up and be able to talk about their own personal lives and the struggles they have gone through. I once heard someone say, "When a person has struggled enough, they will become a good writer." I have struggled my entire life. However, I have experienced joy and pleasure as well as pain, and have poured out my heart in my poetry. Whoever reads my book will find themselves in at least one or two poems to which they can relate. Hopefully, when that happens, a healing will begin.
