Yujin

It was less than an hour before Yujin and Ghost came into sight. Daisy was in awe of the size of the mountain cat. For Aera, it was not the first time she had seen one but it was the first time she had seen one walking with her sister. The cat seemed to be testing the air and then they stopped. The mountain cat laid down and Yujin continued on. She was not sure who to expect and did not want Ghost to set anyone off in a panic. It was then she saw two figures on the edge of the road. She stopped, hesitated, and then broke into a full run. She slid her pack off and dropped her staff so she could run faster. As she got closer without breaking stride she leaped into Aera’s arms. Aera caught her cleanly and held her tight. Tears were flowing down both their cheeks. It was minutes before either spoke. Then Yujin lifted her head off of Aera’s shoulder and said excitedly, “How did you get here? How did you know to come?” “That is a long story I will tell over dinner,” Aera said, smiling. She set Yujin down. Yujin immediately kneeled and hugged Daisy tight to her chest. “I missed you Yujin,” Daisy said. “I was afraid I would not see you again,” “Nothing could keep me from you little sister,” Yujin said, “I am sorry I had to leave without saying goodbye.”She kissed Daisy on the cheek and stood up. Her smile faded. “Did Pasha say anything, is she okay? I was hoping…,” her voice trailed off. “Pasha is doing well,” Aera said, “it was nice getting to know her. She is a wonderful young lady.” Yujin looked up at the clouds, “Yes, she is,” Yujin said with her smile returning, “I see her everywhere I look.” When she turned back to Aera, her heart leaped. She put both hands to her mouth.
