This book gives insight into the thoughts, desires and frustrations that an intelligent man experiences when he is totally dependent and imprisoned in an unresponsive body due to cerebral palsy.  Mike Conley has managed to live over 70 years as such a man, and this enlightening book takes us on his amazing journey through life, with special emphasis on his most recent challenge - moving from his home in San Antonio, Texas, to Florida to live with his brother after their mother died.  Mike has managed to return to Texas, only to find that the services he used to rely on are now unavailable to him, and his struggle to be as independent as possible continues today.
