About the Author

Nirvana-Nirva Sabuncuyan, Armenian poet and humourist She was born in Istanbul, Turkiye. She studied Armenian and English till she moved to the United States in 1999. She was inspired by Bedros Tourian, the acclaimed Armenian poet from Istanbul. Nirvana considers herself an apprentice of his, bringing his symbolism and revolutionary realism into the twenty-first century in the English language. Most of Nirvana’s lyrics address in unrequited love and visionary flights which lean away from traditional Armenian culture. Her language is contemporary, enthusiastic and hauntingly vibrant. Her works are a new dimension to romantic poetry, Armenian Culture and literature. She has numerous Armenian poems ready for the publishing world.
