About the Book

Caleb Blessing left Hempstead years ago a lost and confused young man. Having escaped certain death from an incident he barely understood at the time, he carried with him a tremendous burden. Returning today to bury his father who died from mysterious circumstances, Caleb found his hometown undergoing a supernatural siege, adversaries with hidden agendas from him and a former love that has moved on without him. Can Caleb rid himself of demons both real and imagined or is he fated to spend the longest weekend fighting for his life—provided he lives that long?

About the Author

Ophalandus Brasfield II is a teacher living in Detroit Michigan. Born in Los Angeles, California on November 14, 1965, he has never placed a tattoo on his skin for fear of someday growing tired or bored of it but if he put one on his person it would probably be on his back and it would look like a…moving on. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wayne State University in August of 1989 and a Masters in Education in Marygrove College in May of 2001. He has served in Detroit Public Schools since 2001 and ‘My Extended Vacation’ is his second novel. His first, published novel on June 17, 2011 is called ‘The Long Weekend’ also published by Xlibris.
