About the Book

Katy Rowe has it all.  She’s in love with Dr. John Ashworth, she has found her mother is alive, after being told by her father that she had died when Katy was three.  Rowe’s Nursing Care Facility is prospering, until John and two of Katy’s staff members are brutally attacked.  Who could be behind this?  Katy soon finds out for herself when she is abducted, and attacked herself.

About the Author

: Diana Etter-Laver has worked in a nursing care facility for twenty-four years, working with elderly, mentally challenged, and mentally ill clients. She is the author of Bethany, and has written a book of poems, one of which is in this story. She started her first novel three years ago, and started writing in earnest when the care facility was closed. Her love of writing goes back to her high school days working on the school newspaper, and the yearbook team. She was raised in Iowa. She is the single parent of two grown children, and three grandchildren.
