About the Book

Rob Morris earned the nickname 'spaceman' because of his looks. His hands and feet hung on spindly arms and legs. His head is too big for his body, with a large flat nose. Rob is tormented beyond anything no other person could endure. If he cries or tells his teachers, his tormenters make it worse. In high school he beats two of his worse tormenters resulting in suspension. That was the first time he heard the voice. He turns his attention to Cathy Carter, a reporter for the local newspaper. Obsessed with her, he stops at nothing to have her. The voice drives him to kill anyone that gets in his way to get Cathy, including death threats against her fiance, Doug. Cathy agrees to meet Rob only to find he's been set up.
