About the Book

Valentina is so excited about her upcoming first day in elementary school that she imagines wearing her new outfit, meeting new friends, and having the best new teacher in the whole world. When she realizes that some things don't go as well as planned, she hesitantly settles into the school year. As Valentina arrives to school each day, she encounters her teacher who seems to be a little weird. But as the first week of school comes to an end, Valentina accepts her new teacher, not only as a one of a kind, but also as her favorite.

Felisha Williams grew up in Champaign, Illinois. She educates and mentors children from all age groups and enjoys writing on topics that children often experience in school, family, and other settings. She lives in Georgia with her two children and pet dog.
