A series of interviews with senior citizens, between the ages of seventy and ninety, who were residents of a retirement community. Each interview sought out details of their family history. The resulting biographical sketches are of interest to their families and to those who search for details of family lineage. The data presented, gathered in Raleigh, NC, spans 40 states and some foreign countries.
About the Author
Dr. L. Adelia Duggins is a retired educator. After obtaining her doctorate from Columbia University, she enjoyed a long career as a reading specialist. Most of that career was at the University of Bridgeport where she authored various technical material to be used in teaching reading. She has also written three fictional works: “One For The Little Boy”, “Tidelights”, and “River Gathering.”
