About the Author

Robert S. Landisi was a retired salesman and a lifetime resident of New Jersey. He began writing shortly after his beautiful and loving wife of 54 years, Josephine, the cover model of Maggie, passed away in 1998. Robert found great pleasure in writing and sharing his stories. His first book, When Time Stood Still, is a true story of friendships forged through the game of baseball and the search to reunite a team more than fifty years later. Apart from writing, he enjoyed completing puzzles, researching his Italian ancestry, watching Yankee baseball and spending time with his loyal rescue dog, Molly. He found inspiration through his daughters, Linda and Lorraine, his grandchildren, Heather and Eric and his great-grandchildren, Tyler and Chloe. On September 3, 2013, at the age of 95, Robert was reunited with his beloved wife. In wishing to see his dream come true and pass on his love of writing, his family pressed on to see that Maggie was finally published.
