MORTON is always teased because he is slow-witted, and avoided by the young women. PAT is his main teaser. Pat leads him to believe there is a woman witch who can give him a love potion. By luck, Morton helps her, pursuaded her to give him potion she makes up. Unknown to Morton, he wins a big lottery prize, the word gets out to women, and he is besieged by them. Pat is amazed. Thinking the 'love potion' is for real, Pat tries to buy it from Morton after his effort to buy the formula from the 'witch' is foiled. Morton, finding out how much Pat desires the formula, bargains hard. Pat, a car dealer, sells used Rolls Royce cars. Pat buys the formula for a Rolls Royce and thousands of dollars when he sees how the women flock to Morton. A friend of Morton's, Don, has just come back from Detroit for a funeral of his uncle. Unknown to most, Don is heir to his uncle's fortune. Morton finds out. Then he pursuades Pat to administer the 'love potion' to Don, who has never had a date because he is physically and econmically unattractive to women. Morton now reveals that Don is rich, and the women go for him, Pat, not knowing how Morton has informed the women of Don's new wealth, uses Don for his first experiment with the 'love potion'. sees how they suddenly court Don, is secure now in the knowledge that he has the makings of a huge fortune with his 'love potion'. The story follows the effects of THE STRONG DRINK FOR LOVE.


About the Author

J. T. Elias, grew up and was educated in Wilkes Barre, PA. While studying at Loyola College, MD, Pearl Harbor, was attacked. He volunteered, served in England, awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Purple Heart, other medals. After the war he travelled U.S. and Europe, married an Irish woman, had four beautiful children while writing. Two of his plays produced in New York City, two plays published by Samuel French. A video of SOCRATES, SOCRATES sold to 400 colleges and universities in the U.S, Canada and Australia. Five novels have been published, WAR & WOMEN, THE SHY NUDE, FIERY HEARTS, YOUNG THOMAS PAINE, BATTLE OF WITS. He lives and writes in Nanticoke, PA, visits his four children in California, New York and Spain.
