This is a story about Matthew Moose going to see Ms. Mary, his Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, for his 5 year check-up. It illustrates many simple mistakes that could turn into a catastrophe but then Ms. Mary puts him on the right track to good health and safety. It is pleasant and entertaining, while providing informative guidance.

About the Author

Mary B. Hammock is a graduate of Emory University and a practicing Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. After working for many years, she opened her own pediatric practice in Marietta, Georgia. Ms. Mary loves her career, watching her patients grow and making a difference in families’ lives. She lives in Kennesaw with her loving husband and four young children. Her favorite time is in the evening when all the children cuddle in the bed with her to read bedtime stories – sometimes it is one book, sometimes it is four.
