About the Book

The Gohas, an immigrant family, have a problem with their daughter – Tara who comes home with a newborn baby. Tara decides to finish her college education in Norfolk’s ODU. There she meets Dromo, a Kuwaiti student. They madly fall in love, marry and settle in Kuwait. They become the main attraction in the high administrative circles.

When the Iraqi Army invades Kuwait, they stay put, cooperate with the Iraqi and foil the normalization process. The Iraqi General devise plans to assassinate Dromo and possess his wife.

Desert storm unfolds. Tara escapes and returns home.


About the Author

Born (1936), raised and educated in a French speaking Boarding school in Lebanon, Nakley A. Risk continued his studies in the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts in Beirut. He lived for long stretch of his life in Africa, traveled extensively, them migrated to the United States and was sworn U.S. Citizen in 1987. His classic education of Greek and Latin, his fluency in French and Arabic, facilitated his self-taught languages, mainly English. His stage plays reflect his admiration of the Founding Fathers of the U.S.A. Presently, he lives in Hampton, Virginia
