A Game of Cat and Mouse

About the Book

This book is about a little boy who struggles with trying to give his dog a bath, and it soon turns into a chase, which he likes to call a game of cat and mouse. As he chases his dog all around the house—with a few stops in between—he becomes amazed at how the dog’s little legs are faster than his. But at the end of their game of cat and mouse, he finally wins the race.

About the Author

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I lived there with my mother, stepfather, and three sisters. After I graduated from high school in 1999, I moved to Iowa for a change of scenery, where I currently live with my two children. I currently attend Grand Canyon University where I will soon receive my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and afterward open up a day-care center with a school-like setting. This is my first children’s poetry book but not my last.
