About the Book
“A Bone For Jack” is a lyrical rhyming tale suitable for kids ages 2-8. Jack is a young and spirited Dalmatian, who has a loving best friend named Rob. One day Rob has to leave Jack home alone while he travels on business. So that Jack will not be lonely while he is gone, Rob presents the Dalmatian with a new bone. Jack buries the bone in the yard, but after a nap, forgets where he buried it! Without a thought for his good buddy Rob, Jack digs up the whole yard. It’s a bitter-sweet reunion when Rob returns home and Jack learns the value of friendship.
About the Author
Susan Frances is the mother of two boys and the grandmother of two, living in New Jersey. She has worked in the Nursing profession for over forty years. Susan writes lyrical poetry and rhyming stories which teach a lesson or moral. Other titles of her rhyming children’s stories include: “Sophie and the Moon”, “The Almost All Bird Chorus”, and “Millie Gets It Done”.
