About the Book

“Milly Gets It Done” is a lyrical rhyming story, suitable for children ages 2 – 7. There’s a drought in the forest and nobody knows what to do about it, but everybody has a lot to say. Milly the forest duck has never believed in empty words, and so Milly springs into action and saves the day. This is a story about common sense and courage that proves the adage: “Actions speak louder than words.”

About the Author

Susan Frances is the mother of two boys and the grandmother of two living in New Jersey. She has worked in Nursing for forty years, and as a Masters of Science prepared Nurse Practitioner and primary care provider for over a decade. She has been inspired to write her children’s books of rhyme by her inquisitive, imaginative kids and grandkids.
