The rooster is faced with the dilemma of realizing he must be able to crow at the sun when it appears in the morning. But as a youngster, his first try is disastrous, and he hangs his head in shame when all the other roosters laugh at his attempt. His mother encourages him to practice because first attempts are usually not perfect. So he does, and soon he is able to crow a beautiful song at the rising sun.
