About the Author
Esther Pearlman enjoys art and finds it to be fun. In addition to oils, watercolor and collage, she has been very involved in doing black ink and Japanese Washi Tape artwork. She has produced over 800 pictures with this process. She also loves to write. In 2022 and 2023, she wrote the autobiographical solo play Re-Inventing Me. The play was accepted to be part of Solofest 2023, and it was performed live on March 9 by actress Laurie Wardell. It was then streamed for three months on the Whitefire Theatre website. Three of her earlier books are Looking at the Bright Side, Mostly; It’s Not Easy Being a Woman; and A Face Is a Face Is a Face. The author has been happily married to a highly successful pharmacist for more than 60 years. He is now retired. She and her husband, Marty, have three children—two sons and a daughter—and two grandchildren, a boy and a girl. She loves being a wife, mother and grandmother too. Recent venues where her art has been shown include bG Gallery, Grandview Fine Art Studios, the Montana Avenue Art Walk, the Pacific Palisades Library, the Lark Gallery, Izen Miller Gallery, Neutra Institute Gallery, Loveland Museum Gallery, and Blue 7 Art Gallery. Esther has also been interviewed on the following shows: Environmental Directions with Nancy Pearlman; Columbo Chronicles with Rose Columbo; the Lewis B. Free Radio Show, WFMJ, Youngstown, Ohio; David Snow’s Doctor Health Radio Podcast; and James Lowe’s Jiggy Jaguar Show, KJAG, Hutchinson, Kansas.
