About the Book
The Brightest Day is centrally about life, love, sex and death in the context modernity. It has aspirations toward freedom and relates to every human being universally. The idea of democracy is limited in scope, concern’s for modern man should always be freedom of culture and individuality. Th e exploitation of any human being strikes me as abhorrent. Th e will to power must exist but channeled into artistic forms. These poems represent a challenge to society. As an artist I wish to explore social issues thoroughly. As a great admirer of poetry this book’s only impact can be that of an immoderate artist. Christian ideals, economic tyranny. Th e aim of my poetry is to provoke awareness of the human condition.
