About the Author

Rosemarie Griggs has been writing poetry since she was a child. As a mother of two children, she has been involved with schools reading programs, specifically dealing with children with reading difficulties. Rosemarie found that poetry and song can often inspire some children, where story reading will fail. Donkey Tom was originally a story which Rosemarie turned into nine Donkey Tom Adventures in rhyming verse. This story was created by her husband Dennis Griggs, who has also illustrated this book.
