About the Book
"A record of an era of rapid transition, this is a collection in the poetic idiom covering the last years of exile and the early days of the new democratic South Africa - a book bound together more by its documentary nature than strictly aesthetic considerations. It is a sober account of happenings around the world by a mature sensibility, by all means African."
