About the Book
A compilation of inspirational thoughts to encourage many, the broken-hearted, the desperate, the voiceless, the hurting, those afflicted with adversity, those whose rescue and answer can only come from the Lord. He is their only anchor, hope and shield through the true and everlasting Word of promise. I happened to run a series of daily thoughts some time back, postings initially meant for Men's Fellowship in my Church. The initially limited mailing list later grew to include other people. This had been going on since 2009. After much thought and discussion with close friends and my wife, I agreed to reorganize part of the thoughts in a published to reach out to a wider audience, believers and many others. Even as I converse with my Master, as I search for answers walking to and fro facing reality, I realize that many can only find the assurance they need from within the Word (which alone dispels the dilemma), provides the required encouragements to squash weariness, reminds us to stand against fearful uncertainty which freezes all initiative, emphasizes the need to grow in patience (-the key ingredient in faith-) to better understand God’s perspective and timing, and ultimately better apprehend the future whilst waiting. Then I can keep dreaming as I rise to soldier on with unshakable resolve. As the army’s discipline commands. I get reminded that the vision is for an appointed time, forging ahead, convinced I am here for a purpose. The latter has to be fulfilled. I move on and refuse to give up and to settle in procrastination. My dream has to blossom en route to the finish line of destiny. The issue is how do I transition from the dream I carry to the fulfillment of my calling? How d I impact lives around me and beyond when the odds seem to be against every move I make? How do I live a significant life (of service) when part of the impact I desire to imprint is taking time to materialize? And the more I resolve to speed up, the more sudden storms arise to frustrate the efforts and the resolute drive. The answer can never be beyond and or outside the very Spirit Word, Word of life and of light. The more I reflect and search for answers, the more I am convinced that the only way out is the way in the Word. Even if I am the only one to believe such, still I will stand firm in that belief. I will carry on with my stubborn faith. I will only wrestle with my ability to keep believing and trusting the Sovereign One. I will challenge Him on His Word. He espouses it and He does not change. Thus He will bring to pass that which He has spoken of, concerning me and my future. This Word of promise does not expire. I will soldier on believing. If secular principles are timeless and know no boundaries in space for their application, what more about God’s Principles (embedded in His Word)? This Word is true and everlasting. The best place to start from as I search can only be this source so far. As I interrogate reality, it won’t matter the amount of information availed to me to digest, facts and truth will send me back to the starting point and end in itself, the Word of the Lord. Moreover knowing is not enough, applying makes knowledge justified and useful, making sense of the effort in its laborious acquisition. The Word is full of godly principles which have to be put to good use in order to grow, mature, serve better and ultimately live a life of significance. Resolving to apply the very Principles is the beginning, doing it enhances the willingness and elevates one to a better status which brings the expected change and beatification of lives as intended by the Creator Himself through purposes meant to materialize. In my conversations with my Master, a fellowship built around my reality and struggles led to a honest dialogue between myself and the Creator. Such a journey can perfectly reflect a conversation between anyone and the Sovereign Master. Anyone would love to transcend and overcome to g
About the Author
If I am to minister to others effectively, I start by myself. The best leader will always take others where he has been first. For anticipation is a search for answers. And in that process, one takes tremendous risks. Though I talk to my God aloud, others may recognize their circumstances in these conversations. A part of me speaks in these thoughts to encourage myself primarily, and hopefully any other individual relating these inspirational thoughts. They speak for the inner man with an aim to impact through the everlasting Word of truth. Who I am gets a meaning when I serve and impact others.
